How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Plant Operator is responsible for safely operating equipment for the handling and production of packaged gas cylinders, including high pressure and liquefied gases.

The Delivery Driver, as the "face of Airgas," is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to customers using company vehicles. This includes loading, unloading, delivering, and interacting with customers.

In Particular, You Will

• Load and unload gas cylinders using proper carts.
• Sort empty cylinders by type.
• Operate forklifts and roll cylinders.
• Understand hazards of gases, interpret labels, and accurately label cylinders.
• Handle high-pressure, medical, and liquid cylinders, including preparation and evacuation.
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance and inspections, following safety and regulatory standards.
• Manage paperwork according to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and company standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Safely deliver cylinders to customer sites, record deliveries, and manage empty cylinders.
• Establish good customer relations and communicate effectively with management and customers.
• Ensure vehicle and load compliance with safety regulations, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all safety rules and report incidents promptly.

Are you a MATCH?

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of manufacturing or loading experience preferred.
• Experience in gas, welding, safety supply, or chemical industries preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read safety and operating manuals.
• Detail-oriented and able to operate a forklift safely.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Valid Class A Driver’s License with relevant driving experience and clean record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Card; Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications or ability to obtain.
