Job summary

Harrison Construction Company, a CRH Company, is seeking a plant operator to weigh and deliver aggregates for loadout. You will work with the plant crew to keep production efficient and safe. This role requires attention to safety procedures and timely communication with team.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, operating equipment, recording production and maintenance data, and ensuring end-of-shift cleanup and compliance with OSHA/MSHA policies. Nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Pre-shift inspection of plant to ensure safety and operational order.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-shift inspection of the plant to ensure everything is in operational order.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA safety regulations for safe procedures and environment.
• Answers telephone, radio, and inputs orders.
• Observes gauges and operation of machinery to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Assists in maintenance of plant equipment and in compiling reports.
• End-of-shift inspection of plant and safety items.
• Grease equipment and clean up at end of shift.
• Attend according to attendance policy to maintain normal efficiency.
