Job summary

Sanimax is seeking a Plant Laborer for 2nd shift in Saint Paul, MN. The role involves loading tankers and rail cars, performing mill checks, transferring and unloading products, and maintaining inventory.

You will back trailers into staging areas and collaborate with supervisors and maintenance to fix equipment issues. The position requires 18+ years of age, plant experience preferred, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year experience in a plant environment preferred.
• Experience with forklift, skid steer or other operating equipment is a plus.
• Ability to learn various tasks and computer systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Can work independently when needed, while being a team player.
• Physically able to lift 30–50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Load tankers and rail cars with finished product.
• Perform mill checks and transfer/unload product.
• Collect inventory and stage trailers.
• Back trailers into staging areas and assist with dumping.
• Partner with supervisor or maintenance to troubleshoot and repair equipment failures.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Suggest cost-saving ideas to the shift supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
