Responsibilities
- Performs independent operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of natural gas processing, compression, production, and water injection facilities. Provides day-to-day operational oversight to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility performance.
- Operates and monitors a gas sweetening facility utilizing the Shell-Paques process and a mechanical refrigeration unit (MRU) for NGL recovery. including monitoring process conditions, equipment performance, and operating parameters.
- Operates and maintains field gas compressors associated with the gas gathering system. Performs routine inspections, troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor repairs to compressor equipment and associated piping, valves, instrumentation, and auxiliary systems.
- Maintains skim oil and drip condensate recovery operations, including monitoring production, tank levels, pumps, valves, and associated equipment.
- Operates and monitors a water injection facility consisting of multiple quintuplex pumps with 200–250 HP motors and two 2,500 HP centrifugal pumps. Monitors injection pressures, rates, pump performance, and associated equipment and performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Conducts all operations in a safe manner and in compliance with company policies, procedures, permit requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements. Performs equipment start-up, shutdown, isolation, and return-to-service activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Troubleshoots equipment and operating issues and performs repairs within the employee's capabilities and qualifications. Coordinates and oversees third‑party contractors when specialized maintenance, inspections, or repairs are required.
- Maintains accurate operating logs, production and maintenance records, inspection reports, and other required documentation. Conducts routine facility inspections and identifies opportunities to improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and equipment performance.
- Maintains clean and orderly facilities and participates in emergency response, troubleshooting, and other operational activities as directed. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School education or G.E.D.
- Employment is contingent upon being able to wear all types of breathing air equipment, pass a pulmonary function test and a fit test.
- Successful completion of industry schools as scheduled by Citation.
- Successful completion of safety and regulatory training as scheduled by Citation.
Physical Requirements
- Job duties require working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Climbing stairs 20ft in height while wearing breathing apparatus.
- Ability to move in and out of trenches during line repairs, carrying tools and wearing breathing air equipment.
- Lifting up to 50lbs, pushing and pulling required.
