Job summary

Mustang Gas Products LLC in North Providence, Rhode Island is seeking an experienced Plant Operator responsible for the safe and efficient operations of all plant assets. You will operate the gas processing plant with minimal supervision and respond appropriately to plant upsets.

The ideal candidate will have three to five years of plant operator experience, ideally in oil and gas, and must possess excellent troubleshooting and multitasking skills. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of plant operator experience.
• Experience in oil and gas preferred.
• Ability to work alone on a shift schedule.

Responsible for the safe and efficient operations and general maintenance of all plant assets. Ensure equipment functions effectively and efficiently, is properly maintained and operates safely within design limitations. Shift work is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the natural gas processing plant with minimal supervision.
• Recognize major plant upsets and respond to the same in a safe and proper manner.
• Monitor pressure levels, gauges and product flows.
• Adjust plant conditions.
• Operate pumps, heat exchangers, compressors, and other equipment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of plant operator experience.
• Experience in oil and gas preferred.
• Ability to work alone on a shift schedule.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with Mustang designated standards.
• Good crisis management skills.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
