Job description

Our opportunity: As the premium provider of drinking water and water treatment services for the greater part of a century, Hall’s Culligan continues to innovate and expand our business nationwide by offering tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer backed by our superior Culligan service.

We are seeking a Plant Operator to play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities include inventory management, bottling, portable exchange tank regeneration, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.

What you’ll do:

Inventory management:

  • Receive, store, and organize inventory accurately.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts.
  • Monitor bottling or PE line operations and ensure quality control.
  • Reconcile receiving packing slips.
  • Load and unload trucks.

Teamwork:

  • Collaborate effectively with coworkers.
  • Communicate clearly and support team members.

Time management:

  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.

Organization:

  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Properly store tools and materials.
  • Follow established procedures for inventory and storage.

Safety:

  • Follow safety protocols and regulations.
  • Use PPE properly.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely.

Work environment:

Operate in indoor and outdoor warehouse settings with varying weather and temperature conditions. Be prepared for a physically demanding role involving lifting up to 75 lbs, standing, walking, kneeling, and bending regularly. Surfaces may be slick due to resin use, and noise levels may be high.

Who should apply:

Ideal candidates demonstrate reliability, accountability, and professionalism. Attention to detail, inventory accuracy, and compliance are essential. Proficiency with hand tools, forklifts, hand trucks, and math skills are preferred. Good communication skills and flexibility are also important.

  • Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
  • Must be 18+ years old to drive company vehicles; 21+ for route trucks with valid driving record.
  • Pass criminal background and drug screenings.
  • Remain physically capable of performing job duties with or without accommodations.
