Une entreprise spécialisée dans les services de tuyauterie recherche un Pipe Crew Lead / Excavator Operator. Le candidat idéal doit avoir au moins cinq ans d'expérience en opérations d'équipements lourds. Job description

Candidates for the Pipe Crew Lead / Excavator Operator position should have the skills and knowledge to perform the following:

  • Responsible for the installation of various types of underground piping (examples: ductile iron, PVC, galvanized steel, black steel, and concrete). Must be able to maintain grade using pipe laser equipment, read blueprints and complex diagrams, and ensure proper use of trench shoring equipment. Trench safety certification is a plus.

- Must have at least five (5) years of heavy equipment operation experience, including excavators and backhoes for pipeline installation.

- Working conditions:

  • Pipe Crew Lead / Hope Operators work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation. The work can be labor-intensive, involving rigging, lifting, positioning large pipe sections, manual cutting, and mechanical fitting. Climbing in and out of excavations and trench shoring devices is routine. Responsible for crew safety and safe excavation practices.

- Education:

  • A high school diploma is required; a college degree is not. Pipe laying and hoe operating experience are necessary. On-the-job training is available to advance into a Foreman role.
