Job Summary

Operate crushing plant and material handling equipment at our Lippert aggregate location efficiently and safely. This is a union position.

Starting union rate is $18.79

Main Responsibilities
  • Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety culture
  • Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment
  • Complete daily inspection and maintenance checklist
  • Participate in pre-shift safety huddles
  • Responsible to follow all onsite MSHA and environmental requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance and any necessary equipment repairs as needed
  • Responsible for timely reporting of incidents and accidents to supervisor
  • Responsible to inform Plant Superintendent or Managers of any potential safety hazards
Skills
  • Ability to operate equipment efficiently
  • Able to communicate with supervisors and peers
  • Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Independent worker as well as being a strong team member
  • Adaptable to changing conditions
  • Able to perform some heavy lifting
  • Welding and fabricating experience preferred
  • Experience working at heights
Physical Requirements
  • Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Employee will stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
  • Able to use arms, hands, fingers, and legs for extended periods of time
  • Will be required to lift and handle objects
  • Comfortable working at heights
