Summary: Producers Midstream Management LLC is a private equity backed midstream service provider based in Dallas, TX. The Plant Operator is responsible for the operation of compressors, motors, cooling equipment, pumps, valves, pipelines and other related gas processing equipment in a safe and reliable manner. This position ensures the cost effective and efficient operation of gas processing and treating units and associated equipment within gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment and systems at plant facilities, including cryogenic plants, hydrocarbon fractionation units, process controls, LNG facilities, engines, compressors, pumps, pressure relief systems, and more.
  • Optimize processing through facility by maintaining proper product specifications.
  • Respond to alarms and problems within the plant and take corrective measures.
  • Monitor and control pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and levels to achieve desired operating results.
  • Maintain compliance with partnership and environmental standards, including required reporting and readings.
  • Adhere to required trainings, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in safety programs and initiatives.
  • Communicate with control centers, business groups, and other operating groups as necessary.
  • Oversee construction and maintenance activities performed by third parties.
  • Perform lab tests for quality assurance, diagnose mechanical problems, and assist other technical staff as needed.
  • Live within 60 - 65 miles of reporting location to accommodate call outs and respond within 2 hours of call.
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures, including energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
  • Work assigned shift and be available for overtime as needed.
  • Maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
  • Complete all training as directed by management.

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license in state of residency.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment and perform call outs.
  • Ability to react to high stress/emergency situations in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operation and maintenance tasks.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and other computer-based work training.
  • HIMI software operations experience.

Work Environment:

  • Frequent exposure to heat, cold, and other adverse weather conditions.
  • Working conditions may include confined spaces.
  • Repetitive standing, walking, bending, stretching, reaching, and climbing ladders up to 25 feet; occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include hazardous materials and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
