Job summary

Messer is seeking a maintenance/reliability specialist to support plant operations in Texas. You will ensure safety, lead maintenance activities, and troubleshoot electrical and process control equipment. The role involves coordinating contractors, managing preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate logs.

Applicants should have 5 years of plant operations experience and an associates degree or technical certification. Local candidates in Amarillo area preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in a related process plant operations reliability activity.
• Associates Degree or technical certificate preferred.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow safety policies and promote a safe work environment.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System to manage maintenance and improvements.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and process control equipment.
• Direct and monitor contractors during shutdowns, start-ups and turnarounds.
• Maintain logs and ensure compliance with quality controls and FDA requirements where applicable.
