Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of relevant experience in process plant operations, maintenance, or reliability activity is essential.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability with basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the facility.
• Support plant inventory management and ensure all work is documented.
• Assist in shutdowns and start-ups of plant operations.
• Troubleshoot process problems and perform mechanical repairs.

Skills

Math – Basic algebra, fractions/percentages, unit conversion

Personal computer proficiency

Strong interpersonal abilities

Self-directed, ability to work independently

Mechanical aptitude

Basic knowledge of chemical manufacturing hazards

Understanding of basic electrical hazards

Ability to interpret engineering drawings (P&IDs, PFDs)

Capable of operating a forklift, and/or overhead crane

Education

HS Diploma or GED
