Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Operations Technician at the Holly Hill Cement Plant in SC to maintain preheater tower, rotary kiln, coal mill, cooler and related equipment. The role includes operating forklifts and other machinery while ensuring quality materials and adherence to safety protocols.

The candidate will work rotating shifts, complete training programs, and join a committed team focused on plant reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or General Education Degree.
• Associates/Technical Degree preferred.
• Required Work Experience: 2-4 years industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of preheater tower, rotary kiln, coal mill, cooler and auxiliary equipment.
• Operate and assist with bypass/coal unloading systems, conveyors, dust collectors and flow control devices.
• Record checks and statistics; aid troubleshooting from data analysis.
