Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; trade/technical training or military service preferred.
• Proven mechanical and troubleshooting abilities with safety focus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Familiar with POSS/MASS program requirements for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shift operating logs and records.
• Operate and monitor plant equipment and systems.
• Perform routine equipment rounds and report abnormal conditions.
• Assist in mechanical maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Follow safe practices and address hazards with corrective actions.
• Use CMMS to document deficiencies, schedule work, and order materials.
• Complete required plant training and assist in training others.
• Unload, handle, and sample bulk chemicals for analysis.
• Maintain plant housekeeping and security.
