Flint Hills Resources is seeking an Operation Technician to join our asphalt plant team in St. Paul, MN. You will help ensure smooth terminal operation, handle material receipts and shipments, and support production of asphalt products.

You will input data in the management system, assist with small projects, perform equipment maintenance, and help with safety testing and inspections. A two-year technical degree and the ability to drive locally are preferred.

Competenze

• Two years or more of operations/maintenance experience at a storage terminal or plant
• Two-year technical or mechanical degree preferred
• Experience with bulk storage terminals or pipelines is a plus
• Mechanical, electrical, or process work experience preferred

Mansioni

• Input computer data and manage assigned duties using the data management system
• Support the team by assisting with small projects
• Oversee product production and transfers
• Perform equipment maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
• Test system safety devices and alarms
• Conduct periodic inspections of tanks, valves, and piping for quality and safety
