Job summary

Threemile Canyon Farms is seeking an Operation Technician to operate, maintain, and service plant equipment including engines, boilers, amine systems, gas compressors, and associated machinery. The role involves monitoring control systems, diagnosing issues, and ensuring the plant runs safely and efficiently to meet quality and safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred trade school training.

Qualifications

• Experience in operation, maintenance and repair of gas or diesel stationary engine power generating equipment, boilers, and related systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willing and able to work a rotating, 24/7, 12-hour shift work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Respond to system alarms with appropriate action on their own authority.
• Lead plant outage repairs and major maintenance activities.
• Start and stop engines, boiler, dryer, amine system, compressors, and other equipment as necessary.
• Maintain equipment per manufacturer’s recommendations and plant standards.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance and proper record-keeping.
