Job summary

Kroger Manufacturing in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to plan, coordinate and supervise daily department activities, ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to SQR standards.

You will direct area supervisors, optimize line scheduling, and maintain quality and safety while coaching staff and participating in plant safety programs. This role offers growth opportunities within a values-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of department operations and procedures.
• Ability to understand complex verbal and written instructions.
• Manufacturing plant supervisor experience.
• Working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Direct area supervisors and associates in safe manufacturing practices.
• Validate scheduling to maximize line efficiency while minimizing labor costs.
• Communicate plan needs of service groups to production areas including changeovers and maintenance needs.
• Communicate and follow up on quality or safety defects to all levels of the organization.
• Support and participate in the plant safety process.
• Oversee all areas of the plant to ensure SQR standards are met on all products.
• Follow programs to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Accountable to Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
• Supervise and coach direct reports and complete performance reviews.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
