Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to lead daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency across all processing areas. You will supervise the maintenance team and coordinate with Market Center Management to meet output goals.

Requirements include post-secondary education in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering and 4–6 years in a corporate production environment with supervisory experience. Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in a corporate production environment with management experience.
• Proven track record of increasing responsibility with results.
• Ability to build cross-departmental relationships within a market center.
• Preferred degree in Management or Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations to ensure safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Manage staff, environmental compliance, and maintenance for equipment and facilities.
• Monitor production levels and ensure output targets are met safely and efficiently.
• Work with Market Center Management to address operation issues and improve efficiency.
• Lead safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement programs.
