Job summary

Vistra Energy seeks a Department Manager II to oversee a plant within the regional fleet, with potential responsibility for multiple sites including mine sites. You will provide management and direction for safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, and support operations, maintenance, technical and engineering teams.

The role includes long- and short-range planning, O&M and Capital Resource planning, and contractor management, staffing, and employee development within a dynamic energy

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 6 years supervisory/management experience required.
• Proficiency with plant operations, mechanical, and electrical principles required.
• Must be available and able to work overtime as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations for the regional fleet, may manage multiple sites including mine sites.
• Provide leadership for safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Lead long- and short-range planning, O&M and Capital Resource Plans; project and contractor management.
