Job summary

TXU Energy seeks an experienced plant leader to oversee a facility within the regional fleet in Tatum, Texas. You will direct safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory activities while guiding operation, maintenance, and engineering support to meet short- and long-term objectives.

The role requires extensive supervisory experience, strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 6 years supervisory/management experience required.
• Proficiency with plant operations, mechanical, and electrical principles required.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for a plant within the regional fleet.
• Provide management and direction of safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, technical and engineering support, and planning.
• Manage capital/resource plans, project management/contractor management, staffing and community relations.

Job description

Responsibilities

Overall Responsibility for a Plant within the regional fleet. May be responsible for multiple sites as well as Mine sites. Provide management and direction of safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, operation, maintenance, technical and engineering support, long and short range planning, O&M Resource Plan, Capital Resource Plan, project management/contractor management, staffing, employee/team development, employee/labor relations, communication and community relations as site/equipment demolition.

Qualifications

• Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to some of the skills listed
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 6 years supervisory/management experience required
• Proficiency with plant operations, mechanical, and electrical principles required
• Must be available and able to work overtime as assigned
• Level of position will be determined by applicable education and skills/experience
