Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through experience.
• Six years of related experience, including one year in a senior technical/leadership role.
• Advanced leadership skills to direct the activities of operating and maintenance individuals/teams toward the accomplishment of established goals.
• Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
• Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
• Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations and maintenance activities to achieve high productivity and quality work.
• Develops project plans and coordinates activities for plant operations.
• Trains direct reports in operations, safety and apprenticeship programs.
• Identifies and implements improved work practices and processes.
• Monitors plant equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, safety rules, and regulations.
• Manages department budget and reporting of work performed.
• Oversees staff development, performance reviews and salary administration.
