Evonik Corporation is seeking a Building Manager to oversee a significant operational area, directing production, materials, quality control and industrial engineering to meet cost, safety, and shipping commitments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in facilities, engineering, and manufacturing operations, with strong leadership and a track record of delivering performance improvements in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with substantial general work experience in facilities, engineering, manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
• Experience developing and executing strategic and operational plans in a complex organization.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, safety and quality compliance in operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, materials, quality control and manufacturing engineering to optimize cost, safety and efficiency.
• Develop monthly and annual production/operational plans for multiple factories with dependencies and resource planning.
• Communicate strategy and motivate teams to achieve local business goals while aligning with the organization's mission and values.
• Monitor HS&E KPIs and drive improvements to ensure compliance and safe operations.
• Identify process gaps and deliver large improvement projects with guidance from senior colleagues.
