Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager for BronxCare in the Bronx, NY. You will oversee hourly union staff, guide leadership in planning and directing POM activities, and ensure compliance with Aramark and client standards to meet operating goals.

You will cultivate strong interdepartmental relationships, drive safety excellence, and lead by example to deliver reliable facility services and support the client’s objectives in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in POM management or supervisory role.
• 2 years mentoring hourly associates.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• FM Certification (CPMM/CHFM) or commitment to certification within 90 days.

• Manage and prioritize maintenance work orders for MEP, HVAC, boilers and chillers.
• Promote safety-first culture and ensure a work environment free from injuries.
• Lead with a servant leadership approach across internal and external teams.

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager position at BronxCare, located in the Bronx, NY. The Plant & Operations Maintenance Manager manages hourly union associates and helps leadership plan, administer and direct all activities, ensuring compliance with the standards established by Aramark and the client. Focuses on meeting and exceeding operating goals, client objectives and customer needs, and delivering the services Aramark is contracted to provide. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to plan operations maintenance (POM) management.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position is $95,000.00 to $140,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

• Maintain and use capital equipment efficiently

• Supports compliance with Aramark Facilities Services and regulatory agency standards and programs and translating corporate strategy into front line operational tactics and will ensure compliance with all government, local and other safety regulations
• Establishes and maintains effective communications and business relationships

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3-5 years of experience in plant operations & maintenance (POM) management or supervisory role
• Requires at least 2 years of prior experience in mentoring and developing hourly associates
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Facilities Management Certification such as Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM or CHFM) or willing to become certified within 90 days of employment
• Requires working knowledge of facility related equipment such as boilers, chillers, generators and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC/R) systems
• Must have existing membership or willing to become a member of ASHE - American Society of Healthcare Engineers
• Proficient in the use and functionality of a CMMS
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance as related to this role
