Power Generation Company is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Manager to lead daily plant operations and maintenance activities, partnering with the Plant Manager to drive safety, reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years in the power generation field; exceptional experience may substitute for degree.
- Knowledge of gas steam turbines and electrical generators.
- Strong leadership and ability to coach and guide employees.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and persuasive verbal communication.
- Ability to read control logic diagrams, P&IDs and related materials.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related tools.
- Valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable MVR history.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations and maintenance programs with Plant Manager.
- Manage performance/outage/program budgets and asset integrity.
- Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory adherence.
- Lead and develop staff, set goals, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and auditors; manage permit renewals.
- Prepare reports, respond to plant trips, and drive continuous improvement.
