Job summary

Movement Search and Delivery is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Cullman, AL, to identify a Plant Manager for a wood products manufacturing site. You will lead a multi-function team, drive safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while controlling costs and ensuring on-time customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in business, manufacturing, production, or related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience; wood products experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives safety, quality, and environmental improvements.
• Defines resource needs with upper management (materials, capital projects).
• Leads a multi-function site team.
• Communicates corporate vision and goals to staff.
• Sets plant goals, operating and capital plans (3–5 years).
• Develops and manages staff including hiring and performance reviews.
• Aims for forecasted financial performance.
• Contributes to capital project management and cost reduction.
• Oversees production planning aligned with orders and lead times.
• Maintains quality processes to meet standards and customer metrics.
