Job summary

provide is seeking a General Manager to lead plant production and operations, directing precision sheet metal fabrication, heavy machining, painting/coating, and custom contract manufacturing. The role drives throughput growth, P&L optimization, safety compliance, and product quality to meet schedules.

The GM will own the plant budget, oversee expenditures, and report performance metrics to executive leadership while collaborating with planners and inventory coordinators to optimize materials

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive plant leadership or operations management experience.
• Experience with ISO-equivalent client requirements for sheet metal fabrication, welding, and precision assembly.
• Strong ability to manage budgets and report to executives.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day manufacturing activities, shop floor throughput, and workforce capacity across all shifts.
• Own the plant budget, manage operational expenditures, and report performance metrics to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with production planners and inventory coordinators to optimize raw material levels and reduce WIP bottlenecks.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet internal standards and ISO-equivalent client requirements for sheet metal fabrication, welding, and precision assembly.
• Oversee vendor relations, logistics routing, and component staging to minimize supply chain delays and stockouts.
• Champion workplace safety, enforce OSHA regulations, conduct equipment inspections, and provide tactical skills training.
