Synagro WWT, Inc. in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Chief Operator to oversee the biosolids drying facility on assigned shifts.

You will monitor plant operations via SCADA, supervise operators, and ensure safety and environmental compliance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years in process operations and SCADA/DCS experience, plus strong leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (3) years of experience in a process operations environment.
• Minimum two (2) years of control room and SCADA/DCS experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Plant Operators and oversee shift operations.
• Direct daily work to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.
• Monitor processes using SCADA and conduct field inspections.
• Train and develop operators; promote accountability.
• Coordinate startup/shutdown and maintenance activities.
