Job summary

Clean Harbors in Hebron, OH is seeking a Facility Operations Manager to oversee drum pumping, tank farm operations and recycling/distillation processes. The role acts as second in command when the General Manager is absent and requires strong safety stewardship and leadership of multiple shifts.

Qualified candidates will have 6-8 years of plant operations experience and chemical plant experience is preferred. This is a full-time role with benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Fork lift experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to use computer.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform site operations such as drum pumping, tank farm operations, wastewater treatment and related tasks.
• Manage multiple areas and shifts within the facility.
• Supervise and develop Operations Supervisors, Plant Foremen, and staff.
• Ensure proper waste routing and compliance with procedures.
• Collaborate with General Manager on hiring and personnel development.
• Develop and drive production goals; maintain safety and cleanliness.
