Mativ is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to lead manufacturing, maintenance, quality, safety, training and engineering in Alpharetta-area facilities. You will drive compliant, safe, on-schedule production that meets quality and cost targets while advancing the company’s excellence programs.

You will develop strategies with cross-functional teams, lead leaders at all levels, and partner with Sales to deliver top customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business is required; MBA is a plus.
• 7+ years in a leadership role in manufacturing management, preferably resin-based.
• Experience with continuous improvement programs and Six Sigma/Lean training.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation ability.
• Experience working with union leaders and represented employees preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Training and Engineering.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations with HR and Safety.
• Develop current state and improvement strategies for the facility.
• Champion safety programs and drive safe work practices.
• Deliver OEE and productivity improvements year over year.
• Lead Operational Excellence programs and processes.
• Direct manufacturing policies to protect profitability and competitiveness.
• Partner with Sales to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Develop and mentor leaders at all levels of the plant.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff per company policy.
• Implement and manage Quality Control processes with the Quality Manager.
• Deliver annual Operational Excellence savings per budget.
• Initiate major projects (layout changes, capital equipment, major repairs).
• Set stretch goals aligned with company strategy and drive adoption.
• Stay current on information/technology affecting operations and compliance.
• Lead collaborative work with union leadership.
