Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Alpha, NJ, United States is seeking a proven Operations Manager to lead safe, quality-driven production across all plant processes.

You will supervise supervisors and staff, drive performance, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining strong safety and compliance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (bachelor's preferred) and at least 5 years in operations or supply chain management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of operations or supply chain leadership experience.
• Experience leading large teams in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Commitment to SHEQ principles and regulatory compliance.
• Strong scheduling, planning, and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, quality-focused, and efficient operation of all plant production processes; promote Safety and Quality culture.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production supervisors, leads, technicians, and staff; manage performance and talent development.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, raw material inventory, procurement, and asset strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to production teams and communicate production status and quality updates.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing methods, implementing new processes, and mitigating risks.
• Manage production equipment, maintenance, repairs, and capital investments for reliability.
• Lead operational excellence and process safety activities including risk assessments and audits.
• Develop and execute business strategies, budgets, and performance metrics with cross-functional teams.
