Job summary

Radius Recycling, Inc. is seeking a Plant Superintendent to drive operational effectiveness and coordinate safety, quality, and inventory controls across the facility. You will guide maintenance, supervise staff, and align production with planned budgets and environmental standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Commercial Group to meet volume quotas, implement continuous improvement, and manage facilities administration for peak performance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in steel scrap yard operations.
• College degree preferred; business/operations courses helpful.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety and Environmental compliance across the facility.
• Oversee operations and maintenance in all departments.
• Forecast monthly production with the Commercial group to meet facility goals.
• Maintain accurate material inventories and implement Quality Control programs.
• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives and manage budgeting considerations.
