Job summary

You will develop plans, schedules, and capital projects while driving Lean and Six Sigma to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities include coordinating production, staffing, budget management, and collaboration with HR and maintenance to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 7+ years of senior manufacturing management experience.
• Strong lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate manufacturing operations across the Clay Center location.
• Direct safety, quality, continuous improvement, production and warehouse/shipping.
• Develop plans, schedules and budgets; manage capital expenditure processes.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with HR on staffing, engagement and retention.
• Prepare production reports and coordinate with Plant Manager on strategy.
• Oversee supply chain purchasing and maintenance coordination with IE.
• Ensure safe, compliant operations and sustainable performance year over year.
