Job summary

Alphagary is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead our Denver, PA manufacturing operation, with full responsibility across SHQE, Purchasing, Planning, and Warehouse functions. The successful candidate will drive a culture of safety, accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement while delivering results across quality, productivity, service, and cost metrics.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 7+ years in plant operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years of plant operations management experience in manufacturing.
• Proven record of safety improvements and safety culture development.
• Strong use of KPI dashboards, metrics, and data to drive results.
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational discipline expertise.
• Excellent leadership and employee engagement skills.
• Financial acumen including CAPEX budgeting and cost control.
• Confident communicator able to engage with suppliers, clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant with a safety-first mindset and ensure OSHA, ISO, and environmental compliance.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence across manufacturing functions.
• Develop and execute production and operational plans aligned with company objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Utilize KPI dashboards and metrics to drive performance and accountability.
• Lead, coach, and develop plant leadership teams and frontline employees.
• Manage plant budgets, capital expenditures, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Partner with leadership, engineering, quality, customer service, and supply chain teams to achieve business objectives.
• Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and operational discipline.
