Job summary

Alphagary in Denver, PA seeks a Plant Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing site onsite. You will drive safety, productivity, and continuous improvement across SHQE, production, planning, and maintenance while managing budgets and CAPEX.

The role requires 7+ years of plant operations leadership, a degree in engineering or business, and a proven track record with KPI-driven results. Strong communication and HR awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years of plant operations management in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Proven safety performance improvements and strong safety culture.
• Experience using KPI dashboards and production metrics to drive results.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ISRS, and state requirements.
• Experience leading teams and improving workforce engagement.
• Experience with lean, continuous improvement and cost control.
• Knowledge of HR-related employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant with a safety-first mindset and ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and environmental requirements.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence across all manufacturing functions.
• Develop and execute production and operational plans aligned with company objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Utilize KPI dashboards and operational metrics to drive performance and accountability.
• Lead, coach, and develop plant leadership teams and frontline employees.
• Manage plant budgets, capital expenditures, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Partner with leadership, engineering, quality, customer service, and supply chain teams to achieve business objectives.
• Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and operational discipline.
