Job summary

Quincy Recycle in New Haven, IN is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily plant operations and drive safety, efficiency, and profitability. You will manage labor, scheduling, maintenance, and freight, while aligning with finance and procurement to achieve company goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in warehouse/manufacturing leadership, a bachelor’s degree, and experience with LMS or operational software, with a strong drive for continuous improvement and a culture of teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 5+ years in warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial roles.
• Proven cross-functional leadership.
• Experience with LMS or similar software.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations and workforce planning to meet production goals.
• Oversee safety, housekeeping, maintenance in partnership with EHS and facilities.
• Manage plant financials including gross margin, costs, inventory.
• Oversee inbound and outbound freight for cost efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement across plant functions.
• Coordinate maintenance and capital projects.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, sales, marketing, and operations.
• Conduct performance evaluations and compensation reviews.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
