Job summary

Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for a manufacturing facility in Allison, IA. The role calls for leadership of operations, safety, quality, and production planning to meet targets and optimize performance.

Responsibilities include supervising a manufacturing team, managing orders and inventory, analyzing metrics, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining compliance and an engaged workforce capable of delivering results.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory and/or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to effectively use multiple computer systems and software programs.
• Manufacturing and/or industrial paint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective employee relations by providing employee coaching and development, providing input into employment decisions, and resolving employee issues through effective problem resolution.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and employee morale to achieve positive results across all areas of the facility.
• Continuously identify and implement opportunities for improvement across facility operations.
• Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to management.
• Manage Manufacturing Orders and ensure production requirements are met.
• Conduct accident investigations and support a safe working environment.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support production requirements.
• Manage departmental priorities and ensure resources are aligned with business needs.
• Work proactively to improve processes and prevent issues that may negatively impact company performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
