Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in production management or equivalent.
• Forklift operator certification is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant assets are properly managed and safeguarded.
• Staff, coach, and evaluate the production management team; take corrective action as needed.
• Develop and approve master production and shipping schedules; coordinate between shifts.
• Assist in capital expenditure recommendations; establish quality standards and drive improvements.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet production levels; monitor output and scrap; drive efficiency.
• Enter production data accurately; coordinate inventory and month-end counts.
• Maintain yard layout for efficient operations and coordinate with management on material flow.
• Monitor expenses and P&L; manage Maintenance Department; ensure HR and OSHA compliance.
• Participate in Safety Committee; prepare reports; perform other duties as required.
