Job summary

Mann is seeking a Plant Operations Manager in Lake Wales, FL to lead daily production activities, ensure lean practices, and drive safety and quality. The role requires strategic oversight of labor and capital resources and collaboration with plant leadership to maintain regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has engineering training and 5–8 years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong cost awareness, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sage, SAP or MRP.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or relevant field
• 5-8 years relevant work experience in manufacturing
• Min 5 years supervisory or management experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; Sage, SAP or MRP experience
• Ability to read and interpret business finance concepts and profit margins
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily production operations and monitors cost and effectiveness
• Ensures lean manufacturing, 5S and CI practices are implemented
• Communicates operational updates to management
• Conducts safety audits and meetings for safe processes
• Manages resource allocation to maximize productivity and quality
• Partners with plant leadership to ensure end-to-end quality and issues resolution
• Evaluates risks and ensures compliance with standards and regulations
• Facilitates audits and regulatory inspections
• Maintains records per ISO/TS/EMS standards
• Prepares work area and ensures equipment setup for each shift
• Oversees staffing and personnel development; participates in hiring and mentoring
• Other duties as assigned
