Job summary

Ron Sunshine Associates LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all daily plant operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. You will lead production, maintenance, and QA teams to meet customer requirements while driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in plant operations leadership, strong knowledge of Lean methods, ERP/MRP systems, and budget management, with a track record of improving productivity and reducing waste.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
5+ years of manufacturing or plant operations leadership.
Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and KPIs for continuous improvement.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and safety/compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily plant operations to meet schedules and quality targets.
Lead supervisors and teams; ensure performance and attendance aligns with policy.
Maintain a safe workplace and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor production, labor, equipment, downtime, and scrap; drive improvements.
Drive quality management and corrective actions to prevent defects.
Coordinate maintenance and equipment upgrades to minimize downtime.
Manage expenses, labor costs, and material usage within budget.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methods.
Collaborate with supply chain, sales, and engineering on priorities.
Track KPIs and report outcomes to senior management.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to meet business goals.
