Job summary

DuPont seeks an Operations Leader at the Salisbury, NC site, overseeing a ~20-person team to drive safe, reliable plant performance and implement continuous improvements. You will lead short-term troubleshooting, develop SOPs, and execute Lean and Kaizen activities to optimize capacity and product quality.

The role collaborates with R&D and technology experts to scale operations, manage cost performance, and support CAPEX projects on a 2-shift schedule with ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial) or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional technical manufacturing experience.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a ~20-person team to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.
• Develop SOPs, best practices, and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot quality and production issues.
• Participate in Lean events and structured problem solving.
• Support CAPEX projects from scope through training.
• Provide off-shift support for continuous operations.
