Job summary

Emerson, based in Stafford, TX, seeks a Plant Manager to lead day-to-day operations and align safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash with strategic goals.

You will own the plant P&L, budgets, forecasts, and targets, drive continuous improvement, develop a high-performing team, and partner across functions to maximize customer satisfaction and growth. This role requires strong leadership, communication with senior management, and the ability to implement the Global Pressure Management Strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
• Experience in engineering, materials and/or manufacturing operations.
• Experience making and executing on financial operating plans (P&L).
• Safety standards expertise and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proven leadership abilities and drive for continuous improvement.
• Ability to communicate with employees, managers, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day plant operations across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash (SQDCC).
• Own the plant’s P&L, budget, forecasts, and operating targets, driving financial and operational performance.
• Develop and execute the plant’s strategic plan and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and other functions to ensure seamless plant performance.
• Drive Lean/Continuous Improvement through Gemba walks, root-cause problem solving, and process optimization.
• Oversee capital investments, resources, materials, and inventory to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost.
• Build strong relationships with customers, senior leadership, and global Emerson teams to support business growth and customer commitments.
• Develop talent and succession plans while leading positive culture and organizational change.
