Job summary

Ruggable is seeking a Plant Manager to join the LA Plant Leadership Team in Gardena, CA. You will direct all operations with accountability for safety, production, maintenance, quality, and costs, while driving continuous improvement across processes.

You will develop leaders, optimize SQDC metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for launches and efficient execution of business priorities. This onsite role requires strong leadership and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience with safety, quality, delivery, and cost responsibility.
• Proven success leading and developing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, inventory, and workforce planning.
• Demonstrated success managing performance through SQDC metrics.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, labor management, cost control, and capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, high-performing plant operations that achieve SQDC objectives.
• Oversee daily production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse operations to meet demand.
• Develop leaders and build organizational capability through coaching and engagement.
• Improve productivity, quality, capacity, and efficiency via Lean and data-driven decisions.
• Own plant performance and financial results; identify opportunities to reduce costs.
• Partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality on launches and priorities.
