Job summary

The candidate will oversee budgeting, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer requirements and company standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field required.
• Several years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior plant management or senior operations leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, safety, quality, maintenance, production planning, and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs, productivity initiatives, and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or other CI methods preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive accountability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all plant operations to meet production targets and business objectives.
• Oversee daily manufacturing activities, resource planning, production performance, and execution.
• Ensure coordination between production, maintenance, quality, engineering, supply chain, HR, finance, and support functions.
• Monitor KPIs and implement actions to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the facility.
• Ensure compliance with policies, EH&S, and regulatory requirements.
• Support quality systems and ensure products meet standards.
• Drive corrective actions and CI activities related to safety, quality, and process stability.
• Provide leadership and direction to plant leadership teams and employees.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support workforce planning, development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Partner with HR to address employee relations and staffing needs.
• Manage plant budgets, cost controls, and operational spending.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost and optimize resources.
• Support business planning, forecasting, and operational strategy.
• Ensure plant performance aligns with financial goals.
• Lead lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and CI initiatives.
• Drive standardization and waste reduction to improve plant performance.
• Encourage problem-solving and data-driven decisions across the organization.
• Support adoption of best practices and systems to boost operational effectiveness.
