Job summary

Taber Extrusions is seeking a Plant Manager in Gulfport, MS to lead all plant operations and drive lean manufacturing initiatives. The role focuses on safety, quality, efficiency and cost management across manufacturing departments.

You will partner with Sales, Finance, and HR to exceed financial objectives and advance industry leadership. The position reports to the Vice President of Operations and requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and deep aluminum extrusion experience to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is required.
• Ten years of progressive responsibility in engineered products/metalworking is preferred.
• Aluminum extrusion experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as plant safety champion with a zero-accident mindset.
• Lead to create a customer-centric culture emphasizing quality, lead-time, and on-time delivery.
• Establish, deploy, and monitor plant performance metrics aligned with AOP objectives.
• Support continuous reduction of scrap and improvement of COPQ.
• Maintain an effective maintenance management system to meet quality and reliability goals.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to uphold a world-class 5S culture.
• Oversee all sales activities and interface with leadership on manufacturing implications.
• Demonstrate leadership, organization, and the ability to complete job paperwork.
