Better Business Bureau in Huntington, IN is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the plant's manufacturing and warehouse operations, reporting to the Plant Manager and guiding the operations team toward reliable, cost-aware performance.

You will plan production, prioritize work, drive continuous improvement through kaizen and 5S, ensure safety, quality, and EHS compliance, and develop training to raise the team's capability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business preferred; experience leading manufacturing operations may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years in an operational leadership role in lean manufacturing preferred.
• Lean training with demonstrated results; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manages daily operations of the plant to ensure processes are followed reliably and consistently in production and the warehouse.
• Leads the team in completing daily customer work orders and the RTS schedule.
• Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities.
• Reviews production, quality, maintenance, financial, and operational reports to reduce defects and inefficiencies.
• Develops and implements operating methods to improve production quality and efficiency.
• Ensures a safe work environment and sustains a culture of safety.
• Facilitates kaizen activities and 5S, layered process audits, and safety audits.
• Leads the deployment of standards and practices throughout the organization.
