Job summary

Ecovyst Catalyst Technologies LLC in Orange, TX, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Production and Maintenance teams, drive safety, reliability, and efficiency, and deliver on EBITDA and budget goals.

You will oversee 24/7 plant operations, manage capital programs, coordinate turnarounds, and develop direct reports to build capabilities in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation functions. Strong leadership and sulfur-related process experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical) preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in an industrial environment with at least 3 years’ supervisory management experience.
• Experience in maintenance and reliability practices, including preventive/predictive maintenance and turnaround planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure safety, environmental, production, and reliability goals are met.
• Lead continuous improvement and manufacturing performance at the site.
• Deliver EBITDA, budgeted production volumes, and quality targets through strong leadership of production and maintenance teams.
• Plan and execute plant turnarounds and outages to minimize downtime.
• Develop direct reports to deliver required changes and coach staff.
