Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree in industrial management, engineering or business administration, or equivalent.
• Eight to ten years of supervisory experience at progressively higher levels in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to create visual aids for communication.

Responsibilities

• Establishes goals, objectives and guidelines for plant operations and staff.
• Directs and motivates subordinates to improve operational efficiency.
• Enforces procedures and controls within the plant to meet goals.
• Supports company philosophies and policies to align plant operations.
• Participates in capital equipment recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Works with customer relations to promote sound relationships.
