Job summary

Ready Mixed Concrete Co., A CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Foreperson in Gretna, NE. The role oversees the production of ready-mix and related materials, coordinating with Area and Operations Managers to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, with familiarity in asphalt, aggregate, or ready-mixed concrete facilities and software tools such as TrackIt and Command.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience or equivalent
• Experience operating asphalt, aggregate or ready-mixed concrete facilities preferred
• Experience using TrackIt, Video Driving Review Software, Command or similar software preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in manufacturing ready-mix concrete, hot-mix asphalt, or aggregates
• Manage plant in accordance with policies and employment laws; train, plan, assign and direct work
• Ensure compliance with city, state and federal regulations; participate in safety meetings
• Work with Quality Control to ensure products meet specs
• Prepare and submit payroll and maintain related documentation
• Organize daily delivery and raw material tickets, fuel usage and mileage
• Inventory control for received materials and batch records
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
