Job summary

AlphaGraphics of Greenway Plaza is seeking a General Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate plant production, administrative operations, and sales growth in line with company objectives.

The role requires experience in printing operations, supervisory leadership, and a solid understanding of budgeting, marketing collaboration, and regulatory compliance to drive performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires at least five years’ printing experience including supervisory, production management or plant superintendent positions.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial management or print shop management or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the President/CEO.
• Coordinates production activities with production supervisors.
• Plans scheduling to optimize manpower, materials and equipment usage.
• Ensures jobs leave the facility on committed timelines.
• Develops and maintains organization through staff training, compensation and motivation.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, EEOC and other regulations.
• Manages wage and salary administration with HR.
• Counsels and disciplines employees in conjunction with supervisors.
• Handles customer complaints and ensures satisfaction.
• Manages inventory and pricing in the company system.
• Proposes marketing involvement to support product pricing and presentation.
• Prepares annual budgets and reports to the President.
• Meets clients and prospects to grow business.
