Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company is seeking an Operations Excellence and Continuous Improvement Manager in Scottsville, KY.

You will coach site pillar leaders and the plant organization to apply high-performance tools, drive loss elimination, and ensure data-driven decisions across teams to deliver the site plan. The role emphasizes training, facilitating continuous improvement progress, and guiding safety, quality and reliability initiatives while supporting the plant masterplan and transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience using continuous improvement tools to deliver business results.
• Experience in training facilitation and leading groups.
• Ability to influence others and lead by example.
• People management experience.
• Decisive and strategic in decision making.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site adherence to master planning cadence.
• Review and drive site loss analysis action plans.
• Lead internal and external continuous improvement assessments for the site.
• Coach pillar leaders and department managers to connect plans to the site plan.
• Manage day-to-day activities of Quality and Safety project engineers.
• Coach pillar owners to build high-performance capability at all levels.
