Job summary

Lehigh Hanson Inc. in Connellsville, PA, seeks a Plant Manager to lead the Springfield Pike aggregates operation, including an underground mine and processing plant.

You will be responsible for safety, production, quality, cost performance, and continuous improvement, while guiding a diverse team. You’ll drive operational excellence, manage site budgeting and planning, and partner with stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale aggregates/mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
• Budgeting, P&L ownership, and cost management experience.
• Willingness to travel to support initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead aggregate plant and underground mining operations to meet safety, production, quality, and cost goals.
• Foster a strong safety culture through leadership, risk management, regulatory compliance, and workforce engagement.
• Drive operational excellence by improving equipment reliability, plant efficiency, maintenance performance, and resource utilization.
• Manage site financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, production planning, and achievement of business objectives.
• Develop, coach, and support supervisors and employees while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
